President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed former Supreme Court udge Justice Jackton Ojwang to chair the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority Board.

Apart from Jackton Ojwang, the president also appointed former Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Vice Chancellor Proffesor Mabel Imbuga as the chairperson of  NACADA.

In the same appointments, former controller of budget Agnes Odhiambo was appointed as the chairperson of the National Transport and Safety Authority board.

Uhuru appoints Mary Wambui National Employment chairperson

This is not the first time that the president is appointing persons who have retired from their positions to head numerous lucrative government boards.
