In a passionate and emotional message posted on his official Facebook
page today March 19, Willy Paul has finally spoken about the beef between
him and his fellow gospel star Bahati.
“I might be called all sorts of names… Deep inside me I get hurt,” he
posted.
It is the first time the You Never Know singer is responding to his
critics since Bahati went loud about three weeks ago, claiming he had
stolen his songs.
Willy now says what is currently facing him are challenges that will
pass.
“This is just a challenge that my Lord God is putting me through.”
He went further to insinuate that Bahati could have lied saying: “Human
beings can lie easily to fellow humans but no one can lie to God.”
The singer says he has been suffering in silence since the accusations
came to the public eye and that most of the comments on his social media
pages have been abuses: “Today I took a look at all my past updates and
realized that 99% of the comments I get are abusive.”
However, Willy Paul says he will never give up, and that God will fight
the battles for him, “Willy paul will never give up… I know the Lord is
with me always and I know He’s watching my next move… Thank you Lord
for showing me that you are the only one I can count on… Amen”
