Azimio la Umoja’s Martha Karua had reacted to the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the election of William Ruto as the president of Kenya.
Shortly after the decision was rendered by chief justice Martha Koome, Karua said that she will respect the decision of the court even though she disagrees with it.
“The court has spoken. I respect but disagree with the findings,” she said.
In the ruling, the Supreme Court had found that Ruto had attained the mandatory constitutional requirements.
