President William Ruto on Tuesday nominated Dorcas Oduor to be the new Attorney General.
A statement that was released by the Head of Public Service Felix Kosgei states that Ms Oduor has thirty years of experience in the legal sector.

Oduor is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Master of Arts in International Conflict Management (UoN), a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree (UoN) and a Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law.
At the same time, the president nominated Beatrice Askul Moe as the East Africa Community and Regional Development Cabinet Secretary.
Askul Moe is a Social Scientist and a Consultant. She has previously served as the County Executive Committee Member in charge of Water, Irrigation, Agriculture and Land Reclamation in the Turkana County Government.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science (Social Work) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa(CUEA) and is pursuing a Masters’s Degree in Governance and Ethics.
