Young Entrepreneurs Awards (YEA) Awards sponsored by Bizna Kenya is about to click its third phase that will see young business people battle for the top positions in the different entry categories with Top 4 YEA winners walking away with marketing and business support services worth over Sh. 1 million.
To recognize the hustle and hard work these young entrepreneurs incorporate to put their businesses up and running, the YEA Awards entries were slotted for ten different categories to cut across all business niches, where they are actively involved.
From Fashion Beauty and Hair, Events and Hospitality, Real Estate, Digital, Agripreneur, Entertainment, Artisan, Auto, Manufacturing to Print and Design.
The Nominations Phase set to run for one month from 22nd August to 20th September, saw many young entrepreneurs nominate themselves and get nominated different categories at YEA Awards.
This exceeds the set target by 30%, asserting that young entrepreneurs are quick to grab opportunities that come their way for the good of their brands and businesses.
Shortlisting of prospect candidates followed shortly after the nominations. Nominees were to submit their names and that of their businesses, specify the category in which their venture best fit and upload detailed documentation of their businesses for content, record keeping, and verification purposes.
A team of competent judges with first-hand experience in the process and vast knowledge in business has been on board working on the list of nominees, to provide a credible output with regards to the process of shortlisting.
