
DB Schenker Limited, One of the leading international providers of integrated logistics services has strengthened its fleet with the addition of two new Hyundai HD 72 light trucks as part of the Companies expansion plan for 2019.
The trucks were handed over to Darren Brown, the Chief Executive Officer of DB Schenker Limited, Ken Gibson, the Project Manager and Lucy Mulinge the Opec and Compliance Manager by Ian Middleton, the DT Dobie Managing Director and Sarfraz Premji , the DT Dobie General Manager for Hyundai.
Speaking at the handover ceremony Daren Brown said, “Hyundai trucks are fuel efficient and reliable and the two which we have purchased today will be used for general cargo including fast moving consumer goods and pharmaceutical products.”
Ian Middleton expressed gratitude to DB Schenker Limited for choosing Hyundai trucks which are becoming increasingly popular in Kenya. He said, “ This shows the high level of trust the company has for the trucks and the service support provided by DT Dobie.”
Sarfraz Premji, the DT Dobie General Manager for Hyundai explained, “The vehicles are serviced at our state of the art workshop in Lusaka Road, Nairobi where we stock genuine parts. Our technicians undergo regular training courses to ensure the best possible maintenance and repair standards.”
DB Schenker (K) Limited has four offices in Kenya two of which are in Nairobi and one each in the port of Mombasa and Malaba border crossing.
