The Garissa attack siege that was staged by Al Shabaab militants has ended. 147 people perished in the siege.
This is according to interior cabinet secretary Joseph Nkaissery. According to Mr. Nkaissery, one KDF officer, one police officer and two guards perished in the attack. “There were only four attackers and they haveall been killed,” said Mr. Nkaissery.
Mr. Nkaissery said that the Garissa terrorists had strapped themselves with bombs, which blew up during the counter attack by security forces, further aggravating the number of fatalities.
