Etihad Airways resumes Abu Dhabi to Nairobi flights

Etihad Airways has announced that it is resume the Abu Dhabi to Nairobi flights. These flights will start on May 1, 2023, nearly three years after the airline ceased the flights due to the 2020 pandemic.

“We are thrilled to be re-starting flights to Nairobi, a dynamic and exciting city in itself and also the gateway to a Kenyan safari, a dream adventure for many travellers, offering a view of the diverse and magnificent wildlife of Africa,” said Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer Antonoaldo Neves.

The airline will charge an introductory fare price of Sh. 42,820 for a one-way ticket on economy seats on May 1. First class seats will cost 157,865 on the same day.

The flights are expected to restore commercial non-stop passenger connections between the two cities, and guests from Kenya will be able to connect with Etihad flights to the GCC, the US, Europe, India and South-East Asia.

Etihad will operate daily flights to Nairobi using the advanced Airbus A320, featuring Business and Economy cabins.
