Airtel Kenya has introduced a new bundle that is going for Sh. 1,000. The new bundle dubbed Smarta Bundle comes with some of the cheapest variety of packages. From Sh. 1,000 per month, subscribers will get free airtel calls within the network.
In addition to the free Airtel calls, subscribers will also get 400 minutes to call other networks in the country. In addition to this, subscribers will get 30 GBs worth of data.
In addition to this, Airtel Kenya has introduced what it terms as a first-of-its kind service, in which subscribers of ‘Smarta Bundles’ will also enjoy 100 per cent ‘Rudishiwa Transaction Fees’ as airtime for bank-to-own Airtel money wallet transactions.
The subscribers will also get reimbursed 100 per cent of their transaction costs as airtime on cash withdrawals at any Airtel Money agents and on making payment to Paybills of any network across the country.
With data, the telecommunications firm has introduced a rollover feature. Any unused data will be rolling over to the following day and compounding until the expiry of the bundle’s validity period at the end of the month. However, the data will come with a daily allocation of 1 GB per day under the Sh. 1,000 package.

Customers who spend Sh. 1,500 on the package will get 900 minutes for calls to other networks, and a daily data limit of 2GB from the 60GB under the plan. They will also enjoy similar features including free airtel to airtel calls.
