Sony, Samsung and LG now have 4k and I have to admit the picture looks sharp and beautiful.
What is 4k? It’s a measurement of resolution. Resolution is made up of pixels and the images you see are made up of thousands of these .You can actually see them if you look close enough.
Most people own a 1080p capable TV; these are 1920 pixels wide and 1080 pixels tall hence the name 1080p.4k as you’ve probably guessed is four times the 1080p. These displays are typically 3840pixels wide by 2160 pixels tall, 3840 is close enough to 4000.
What does that actually mean?
A TV the same size as the one you own now will pack more pixels , about 4 times the pixels than the one before .More pixels means more details .This will allow us to seat closer to our TVs than before to comprehend the new level of detail.
