If you want to know how to win elections, you should talk to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
This is the message that Kalonzo passed during a press conference that was held in Nairobi on Friday, September 30.
Kalonzo said that he had been politics and in parliament long enough to know and understand the art of winning elections.
“I joined parliament when it was the 5th edition, I lived through the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th edition. If you want to know how to win elections please talk to me,” he said.

This was the first major press conference that Kalonzo was holding since, ironically, the Azimio la Umoja coalition where he is a high ranking member lost the presidential election.
Kalonzo’s statement risked resonating with an earlier statement he gave months to the General Elections that the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga would lose the presidential vote to Kenya Kwanza’s Dr. William Ruto if he was not chosen as the Azimio running mate.
Kalonzo had said this in protest over the then likelihood of Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua being chosen by Raila as the running mate.
