Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has given the clearest sign since the August 9 2022 General Elections that he will not support another presidency bid by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Speaking to a local television, Kalonzo said that he is no longer the fool that supported Raila three times in the presidential contest.
“The fool in me ended up supporting Raila for the third time but that fool is wiser now than he was then. I am no fool. It took some painful introspection and I brought it out of the chest,” said Kalonzo.
He claimed that he is a changed man and Kenyans will no longer find reason to brand him names such as watermelon and indecisive.
“All those nay Sayers, indecisive, cannot do anything, watermelon, all those are behind us, gone with 2022. You are looking at a new Kalonzo Musyoka,” he said.
A few months to the 2022 General Elections, Kalonzo had announced that he would be the biggest fool in the world to support Raila for the third time in the presidential contest.
“I will be the most stupid fellow under the earth to support for the third time, a presidential candidate without a measure of reciprocity,” he said.
Weeks later, he made a turn around and announced that he would be supporting Raila. Kalonzo had anticipated that Raila would name him as his running mate.

However, Raila named Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua as his running mate. In protest, Kalonzo quit Azimio and announced that he would be contesting for the presidency on a Wiper ticket.
A few weeks later, he made yet another turn around and dropped his presidential bid in favour of Raila.
After the presidential elections, Kalonzo made bids for Speaker of the National Assembly and the Senate then dropped bids in what was widely perceived by his critics to be in line with his political character of indecisiveness.
