Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai has taken an office break to attend to a medical emergency.
Mutyambai made this announcement on Friday August 26. However, he did not disclose what he was aiming from that had forced him to take the emergency break.
“This is to inform the general public that I will be away from the office attending to a medical checkup effective today – August 26 2022,” Mutyambai said in a statement.
Mutyambai also announced that the Deputy Inspector General Noor Gabow would act in his place over the time he will be away on medical leave.

“In my absence, Mr Noor Gabow, the Deputy Inspector General – Administration Police Service, will act as the Inspector General of the National Police Service until my return,” the statement by Mutyambai said.
