Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who was the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate in the August 9 General Elections has claimed that his election victory was stolen and handed to Dr William Ruto.
“There is no doubt in our mind that the Kenyan people spoke loudly on the 9th of August,” said Raila. “Their voice won’t be muzzled and their victory won’t be taken away.”

His sentiments were echoed by Martha Karua who was his running mate. According to Karua, the Supreme Court will have no option but to nullify the presidential results which were called in favour of Dr. Ruto by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
“We shall know the truth and it shall set all of us free for without justice there cannot be lasting peace,” Karua said. “Justice is the foundation of lasting peace.”
The duo spoke when they attended a church service at the Jesus Teaching Ministry in Donholm, Nairobi.
