Mutua has now been moved to the ministry of tourism and wildlife. Controversial politician Moses Kuria had also been moved from the Ministry of Trade. He will now head the Ministry of Public Service.

The Ministry of Trade will now be headed by Rebecca Miano who has been leading the East African Community ministry. This ministry had been allocated to Peninah Malonza who was heading the Ministry of Tourism.
