Society Supermarket a franchise network of retail supermarkets with branches inLimuru, Naivasha, Thika, and Meru among others has entered the Nyeri market with a bang by offering Equity cardholders rewards including the opportunity to win gift vouchers for making card payments for goods purchased at the news outlet.

Equitycardholders with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express cards, who reside in or are traveling to Nyeri can now pay using their cards conveniently and securely for as low as Ksh 100 and at no extra cost.

KRA to start tracking your daily sales

The offer kicked off on 9th October and ends on 18th October. For the period, every 10th shopper using their EquityCard during the rush hours of between 2-3 pm, 3-4 pm, and 5-6 pm, will receive a gift voucher from the supermarket for use at the outlet. A welcome reward, particularly as parents, make final Back to School arrangements.

Post COVID-19, one of the welcome behaviors we all need to embrace as we hope to reduce exposure to the virus is making cashless transactions for goods and services procured at your preferred merchant outlets or where we shop, fuel, purchase prescriptions, etc.

Your Equity Card has so much potential. Other than using it to make cash withdrawals at ATMs or at an Equity Agent, your card is now your ultimate shopping or traveling partner. All you need to do is swipe, key in your PIN, and finalize your transaction. You will also receive an SMS notification alerting you that your transaction valued at a certain amount was successful at the shopping outlet that you swiped your card at. This allows you to track your expenditure and it is also a security feature.

You can also take advantage of the ‘Tap and Go’ feature available at the Society Supermarket tills. The ‘Tap and Go’ capability allows cardholders to make payments by simply tapping the card on an enabled Point of Sale (POS) machine.

When making online purchases, you can also use your Equity Card and what is good to note is that every time you make an online purchase, you get a One Time Password (OTP) that is valid for one login session as an authentication feature. This One Time Pin (OTP) allows you to secure yourself from fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.

So whether you are fueling, eating out, making hospital payments, making online purchases, or even shopping at your favorite merchant, remember Kulipani Equity Card! Paying for shopping using your Equity Card is convenient, secure, and fast.
