… this is a very busy morning at exactly 4:00 AM.

I am trying to figure out how I’ll hand over a clients’ ebook that I had been working on for the last one week. I was 80% done, the client loved the overview and the first two chapters. He was eagerly waiting for the final copy in the next few hours. This was a book I had enjoyed writing. However, I was constrained in terms of time. I had a few other things to do. My Gmail account was bursting with emails from my students. I had to review their work first. In the mixture of thoughts, an email popped in. This is unlike me. I clear my working area to free myself from all distractions. But for this one, I decided to deal with it first.

I got interested in reading the email since it had a very captivating title: ‘I Finally Hit the $1,000 Mark in a Single Month.” This email lifted my spirits. It gave me the energy to defy the limits and concentrate on my day’s work. Who doesn’t love to see their protégés doing great things? These are the feedbacks that keep me moving. They always give me thousands of reasons not to relinquish training freelancers.

Hilda, a very jovial and motivated lady, joined Luminous Writers about three months ago. She had a long story to tell before joining us. She is a form four leaver who believed in success through working smart. However, she couldn’t trust her learning skills. She often stated that she was a slow learner, and her English writing skills were wanting.

She put everything learnt in the course into practice. She was fairing well with the first client I gave. However, she felt the urge to get more money. Within the second month, she spent more time pitching for clients than writing. She had made up her mind to become an employer.

True to that, she began receiving calls to interviews. She completed several of them and she was considered by some clients. At that point, jobs started flowing such that she could not handle them alone. She hired a few expert writers both for day and night shifts. Within the third month, she had managed to hit USD1000. This is a great achievement for someone who didn’t have any prior experience. I am looking forward to hearing from her in the next few months.
