A Kenyan woman running an Airbnb business has gone viral after sharing the shocking state of one of her rental units following a short stay by guests.
The host, known as oyombeeO94 on TikTok, posted a video titled “extreme cleaning experience,” inviting her followers on a journey through the messy aftermath.
The video opens with her approaching a closed door. As she adjusts the camera angle to the floor, the first red flag appears: a discarded PPE wrapper.
“It’s already a red flag. This house is a mess,” she starts.

Upon unlocking the door—seemingly on the fourth or fifth floor of a story apartment—she finds the house in complete disarray. Traces of trash litter the floors. On a white table in one corner, miraa (khat) leaves are scattered everywhere—on top, underneath, and across the floor.
At the sitting area, two glasses hint at alcohol consumption, while a packet of cigarettes, a PPE covering, and a red woven bag filled with more miraa leaves and used tissues sit ominously on the table.
On the floor, a cigarette ashtray overflows with used butts.
“This is what we go through whenever we clean out units,” she sighs.
As she moves toward the water dispenser, the signs of multiple occupants become clear—two used PPE suits, black carrier bags, and an unfinished cigarette are strewn across the floor.
“Oh no,” she exclaims in visible disgust.
The kitchen is no better: used tissues clog the sink, and the fridge has yogurt spilled on top. Surprisingly, the bathroom remains fairly clean, although the tissue roll is fully used.
The bedroom tells its own chaotic story: bedding tossed everywhere, more PPEs on the table and under the bed.
“By the way, I always check under the bed,” she advises. “Sometimes a room smells fine but hidden trash can go undiscovered for days or even weeks.”

The video triggered mixed reactions online. Some viewers criticized the guests for being irresponsible, while others debated whether guests should have the freedom to behave however they like after paying for a unit.
Attempts by Bizna Kenya to reach out to oyombeeO94 for a comment were unsuccessful.
