Co-op Bank to reward customers with 2018 Fifa World Cup Tickets

The biggest football extravaganza will take place from June 14 to July 25 this year. it will mark the 21st edition of the global football competition and will be held in Russia for the first time.

The event will host 32 football teams from 5 confederations and will be crowned with the awarding of the world’s best footballing nation on July 25.

The event, which takes place every four years attracts global attention, with billions of people streaming live. This is because as much as many would want to watch the event live, only few are able to access the tickets which are currently in great demand.

This season, though, the Co-operative bank has stepped in to ensure that you don’t miss the event. The bank has acquired tickets which it will reward its loyal customers with.

“Visa International has sponsored rights for the Fifa World Cup 2018 which they have extended to Co-operative bank of Kenya as a key business partner,” says Co-op Bank in a statement.

All that customers will need to do to see if Germany will retain the title they won in Brazil in 2014 is use their Co-op Visa Card to pay for goods and services to stand a chance to be part of the extravaganza.

Apart from the tickets, the bank will also have weekly draws in which customers will bag prizes such as mobile airtime, smart phones and smart TVs.

“Once a customer transacts, the transaction details will be captured by our secure bank system. A draw will be held weekly by clicking on the drawing system to automatically pick on account from the saved secure file,” says the bank. To ensure fairness the bank has invited the Betting Control and Licensing Board who will supervise the selection of the winners.

The promotion which kicked off yesterday will conclude on April 30, when lucky customers will be awarded with the tickets to travel to Russia and watch the global event.
