“He made good his promise when he again threw me out only after one week as I failed to pay the rent. An open posho mill in the slums became my home,” he says.
After many months of looking for a job, he got a salesman job with Places and Faces in Westlands, Nairobi. The firm dealt with fast moving consumer goods mainly from Europe.

Osoro’s efforts paid off when in 2009 he was promoted to managerial position in charge of Nyeri branch. He was on a roll and nothing was going to deter him now. Thus, when the company faced problems and closed, Osoro started his own- PitchFace Marketing Division.
He relocated to Meru where he trained school leavers on marketing and within six months, he made a profit of Sh500,000. Five years down the line, he has a workforce of more than 200 staff.
Privilege now fits into Osoro’s lifestyle and he does not shy away from admitting that fact.
“I am worth more than two hundred lives that are under my care. If you ask to borrow Sh50 million, I can give it without thinking about it,” he says.
The businessman says his wealth has led many to think he is a devil worshipper. “My relatives say that I’m a devil worshipper because they don’t understand how I overcame poverty. My answer is simple-pursue your dreams, don’t be lazy, and you will achieve what you want,” he says.
