The Commission for University Education (CUE) has asked Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja to present a list of ten items as evidence that he attended Team University in Uganda.
Professor Chacha Nyaigoti who is the head of CUE said that Sakaja should present to the commission his graduation photos, his application for the course, the letter of admission from the University and evidence of registration, including his Student ID.
He will also need to show the Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (ATS), the course description and the course Units taken.
The full list of requirements includes:
1. His application for the course
2. Letter of admission from the University
3. Evidence of registration including Student ID
4. Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (ATS)
5. Course description for the Bachelor of Science in Management (External)
6. Course Units taken
7. Transcripts
Two universities in Germany Raila attended and courses they offered
8. Examinations schedules
9. Graduation Booklet that has his name on it
10. Receipts for the application fees, Tuition fees, Graduation and convocation, Names of lecturers that taught him some of the courses, any communication with the university staff (academic and administrative) regarding his course in the university, Graduation Photo while wearing the gown and Evidence of the requisite credit hours covered.
The aforementioned evidence items are to be submitted by Sakaja on Monday, June 20 at 10 am. Chacha said the commission had written to National Council for Higher Education- Uganda (NCHE) and Team University seeking further information regarding the senator’s degree.
