The public viewing events will include public screenings of 28 FIFA world cup matches in 7 fan parks across Kenya. The events will be hosted in Mombasa, Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret, Meru, Machakos and other cities and towns.

Football is one of the best ways of bringing people from different backgrounds together and is a good way to provoke conversations with strangers. The FIFA World Cup 2022™ Fan Parks in Kenya will have big screens and world-class sound systems to enable viewers to see, listen and enjoy the games for the entire world cup period.

“We expect hundreds of Kenyans to turn out and watch the action in the amazing Fan Parks across the country,” he added.

Entry to these fan parks will be free but ticketed. Joining Kenyans in watching the FIFA World Cup at the allotted fan parks will be Kenya’s biggest celebrity radio, television and social media stars, top political figures and business leaders.

“We invite the major brands in Kenya, the counties, parastatals and businesses to join hands with us. The Fan Parks will allow companies to engage consumers and activate their brands directly over the whole of the FIFA World Cup 2022™ screening period.” Said Ken Ngaruiya, CEO MediaMax Network Limited.
