As the education sector and schools enter the last stretch of the year, term 3 is commonly seen as the shortest yet busiest season of the year.
Comprising just two months, September and October, learners are tasked with completing their school study materials, along with thorough academic materials revision, for their current academic year during this period.
Furthermore, during this time, over 2 million Grade 6, KCPE, and KCSE candidates will take their national exams.
Schools across the nation have begun reopening for Term 3, scheduled to run from August 28th to October 27th. Shortly after, registered candidates will sit their national examinations.
To clarify, the third term is extremely brief, and as a result, students will not have any mid-term breaks.
Students who will not be taking exams will enjoy a 10-week break from school activities, commencing October 28th and ending on January 8th.
