Anne Adhiambo, the prime suspect in the murder of Nairobi Hospital Finance Director Eric Maigo has pleaded guilty to the offence.
Appearing before Justice Kaanyi Kimondo on Thursday 26 October 2023, Adhiambo pleaded guilty thrice in three different instances.
Kimondo, said the suspect will have another opportunity to plead after consulting her lawyer. She referred the matter to Kibra Law Court where another judge will preside over the case on November 8.

“I give you more time so that you’re able to consult your lawyer who is present here in court so that they can explain to you the meaning of what you just told the court,” the judge said in translated remarks.
The suspect will be held at Lang’ata Women’s Prison pending the next plea taking.
Adhiambo is said to have murdered Maigo on September 15 at his home in Woodley Estate. Maigo’s lifeless body was found in a pool of blood bearing 25 stab wounds. He had been stabbed on his neck, chest, and face.
The motive behind the brutal murder is yet to be established.
