Citizen TV 10 over 10 show host Azeezah Hashim has confirmed that Kenyan artist Stevo Simple Boy is doing fine moments after he collapsed during a live interview.
Stevo collapsed on stage on Friday, March 15, minutes after performing his two songs Freshi Barida and Vichuna on Citizen TV’s 10 over 10 show. He collapsed while engaging in a conversation with Azeezah.
The musician was captured on camera bending to support himself by holding his knees before falling on his back, prompting the hosts to halt the show momentarily.
Speaking on the matter, Azeezah said that the musician was not feeling very well during the interview. She added that he had received medical attention and had regained his consciousness.

According to her, the studio lighting and the heat in the room may have affected the Mihadarati hitmaker.
“He was here, and he was not feeling very well. We have so many lights, and it is also hot because of the energy, but we want you to know that he is feeling very well now. Thank you for showing him concern,” Azeezah stated.
On his part, Stevo expressed gratitude to Kenyans who reached out after the incident to check on how he was doing.
“I am doing okay. I want to thank everyone for the support they have given me and I will be updating you guys very soon,” he stated.
Chief Executive Officer of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK), Ezekiel Mutua, advised the artist to stay well following the incident.
“I’m Glad to hear that Stivo Simple Boy is fine. Watching him collapse during a live TV interview on the 10over10 Show on Citizen TV last night was scary. It’s good to hear that he’s okay now. God loves you, my friend. You have more music to do and exploits to perform in the music industry. Keep well!”
