Some 500 Kenyan nurses are set to work in Qatar after Labour Cabinet Secretary Florence Bore announced 500 job opportunities in the Asian country.
The CS noted that the nurses will be absorbed into five mega companies in Doha. This follows a meeting between CS Bore and the CEO of Estithmar Company, Mohamed Bin Badr Al Sadah, which sought to improve labour relations between the two countries.
“I was able to meet Mr Mohamed Bin Badr Al Sadah the CEO of Estithmar Company, an Umbrella company for 5 mega-companies in the Gulf region, where we discussed the uptake of Kenyan workers into Qatar.”
“The CEO expressed interest in employing our workers and mentioned that at the moment they are employing healthcare workers and I’m delighted that from our meeting we secured placement of 500 nurses,” CS Bore stated.
Estithmar Company is a publicly listed company that houses five mega companies in Qatar including Elegance Arabia, Elegancia Healthcare, Estithmar Ventures, Elegancia MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) and Elegancia Services.
