NCBA Bank has organized an event to recognize the top performers in the insurance and asset finance sectors in Kenya.
The event dubbed ‘NCBA Johari Awards 2024’ carries with it the theme ‘Spotlighting Excellence’ and is set to appreciate the top performers in Insurance Premium Finance (IPF) and Asset Finance & Leasing.
The event is scheduled to take place in various cities such as Mombasa, Kisii, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nanyuki, Meru and Thika. The grand finale awarding ceremony will be hosted by NCBA in Nairobi.
In each of the cities, the best performing dealers, agents and companies will be rewarded for their contributions in driving businesses and being flag carriers of NCBA’s core values; quality and innovation.
There are multiple award categories. In IPF, insurance companies, brokers and agents who have generate the most business will be recognized for categories such as ‘Highest Number of Referrals’ and ‘Top Bancassurance Sales’.
For leasing and asset finance, awards will be issued to top dealers, sales representatives and those with the highest referrals in both new and used units.
Here is a breakdown of both categories:
Insurance Premium Finance (IPF) Awards
1. Insurance Companies Category
This award goes to the insurance companies that have booked the most IPF business throughout the year. This details innovation, customer engagement and driving growth in premium finance.
2. Highest Number of Referrals
This will be awarded to those who have improved their business growth via referrals.
3. Individual Agents
It will honour top performing agents who have the highest contributions in premium finance, increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
4. Registered Agencies
This will be issued to agencies that have booked the highest IPF business and have consistently performed at top level.
5. Silver Category Brokers
Brokers in the silver category will be celebrated for their achievements
6. Gold Category Brokers
This will be issued to brokers who have led the charge in IPF business growth and pushed market boundaries.
7. Top Bancassurance Sales
Bancassurance agents who have excelled in sales will be honored for their remarkable performance in improving the banking and insurance sectors.

Leasing and Asset Finance Awards
1. Top Leasing Supporters
This award recognizes dealer staff who have been instrumental in supporting NCBA Leasing.
2. Top Asset Finance Business, Construction Equipment
This category honours the highest referrals in construction equipment.
3. Top Asset Finance Sales Application Count, Used Units
Dealers with the most used unit applications will be celebrated for their role in pushing asset finance sales, particularly in the used equipment market.
4. Top Asset Finance Sales Representatives, Used Units
This award goes to the sales representatives who have made the highest referrals for used units.
5. Asset Finance Business, Used Units
Dealers with the highest referrals for used units will be awarded for driving asset finance for pre-owned equipment and machinery.
6. Longest Serving Sales Representatives
The Longest serving male and female sales representatives will be acknowledged with an award.
7. Top Dealer, Asset Finance Sales, New Units
This category celebrates dealers with the highest new unit sales
8. Top Asset Finance Sales Representatives, New Units (Per Dealer & Overall)
Sales representatives with the highest new unit referrals will be honoured, both at their respective dealerships and overall.
