Carrefour Kenya sales revenues for the year 2024 hit Sh42.9 billion. This is according to disclosures that have been made Carrefour Kenya operator Majid Al Futtaim in Kenya. These revenue sales were an increase of 15 percent from the Sh37.1 billion sales that were recorded in the full year 2023.
“Revenues grew significantly in key areas across our operating companies, with the diversification of our portfolio offsetting both the impact of economic headwinds faced in some markets and operational challenges in other areas of our businesses,” said Ahmed Gala Ismail, the chief executive officer of Majid Al Futtaim.
The growth in the retailer’s sales have now placed it among the largest retailers in the country. Currently, Carrefour has 28 outlets in the country, having entered the local market in 2016.
