The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has released a list of minimum subject requirements for various degree programmes.
In a document, KUCCPS listed all approved degree courses in universities and their specific subject combination requirement.
According to the document, learners seeking to pursue courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing must demonstrate strong performance in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, and English or Kiswahili.
At the same time, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and related disciplines require solid grades of C+ or above in Mathematics and Physics, alongside Chemistry and either English or Kiswahili.
Below is the list of KUCCPS-approved degree courses and subject requirements:
