Expo at Jacaranda Hotel to boost youth entrepreneurship

A youth entrepreneurship expo is set to be held on Wednesday and Thursday next week. The expo will be held at Jacaranda  Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya starting at 9.00 A.M.

According to a statement by the CAP Youth Empowerment Institute, the expo will pay special attention to youth entrepreneurship and employability under the theme “enhancing youth livelihood through entrepreneurship and employment”.

“The expo will bring together, representation of governmental and nongovernmental organizations, business and associations concerned with the promotion of entrepreneurship, Development partners and networks, Officials in entrepreneurship development, economic policy making and administration, corporate organizations and all those interested in entrepreneurship,” said the statement.

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute is a non-governmental and not for profit organization based here in Kenya. It is funded by the MasterCard Foundation of Canada to implement the Learn, Earn, and Save Initiative for the youth.

“This program helps to identify, recruit and train youth in basic employment and entrepreneurship skills for vulnerable youth between 18 and 25 years of age,” added the statement.
