Jakoyo Midiwo admitted at Aga Khan Hospital after fainting atop a boda boda

Gem MP and deputy minority chief whip Jakoyo Midowo was on Tuseday rushed to the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu after fainting.
Jakoyo Midiwo felt dizzy at Kendu Bay town after a long day of campaigning for Homa Bay ODM candidate Moses Kajwang.
According to Albert Ojonyo, Homa Bay ODM member the legislator had planned to take a chopper back to Nairobi but he changed his mind.
It was then that he asked some boda boda riders to take him to the home of Peter Kaula, an MCA in Homa Bay.
About 30 riders jostled one another for the chance, intending to take Jakoyo Midiwo to a guest house and steal his briefcase after noticing that he was unwell.
Kaula’s personal assistant Josy Owino noticed the boda boda operators and went to Jakoyo Midiwo’s rescue.
Kaula rushed him to the hospital on Tuesday night. Doctors reported that Jakoyo Midiwo passed out due to a drop in his blood sugar level, as a result of his diabetic condition.
