Husqvarna 128ld Trimmer Review
The Husqvarna 128ld Strimmer comes with a 28 cc engine and boasts a width of 17 inches. Thanks to the strimmer head that it has, you are able to add up to 11 different attachments that let you keep your lawn in check. In order to make starting and stopping the power tool that much easier, it has a built in automatic return stop switch that resets it to the position of being on. Similarly, because it has a feature that removes all of the air from the carburettor, it makes starting the power tool more efficient.
Weighing in at just 11 pounds, it is easy to manoeuvre and will not leave you feeling tired or fatigued after a long day of use. In order to get the best out of the Husqvarna 128ld Strimmer, you should use a fuel that does not contain any ethanol. It is recommended that you use a mix that is 50:1, using an appropriate two cycle oil. Alternatively and more expensively, you could also use a synthetic two cycle oil that will work even better. With this inside, it will almost be as good as a commercial grade strimmer.
Despite how well it performs, it comes with a very affordable price tag that makes it available to the masses. Despite the many clear benefits that the Husqvarna 128ld Strimmer has, there are some not so good parts to it also. These include the fact that it is relatively easy to accidentally turn off the choke switch, as a result of it being located on the inside of the unit. Although you can add many attachments to the strimmer head, the joint at which these go on is plastic and comes with slits on either side of it.
This results in a loss of torque and power. Even though the amount of torque and power is reduced, it is still too much for some jobs. This is made worse by the fact that you are not able to alter the level of power and so you need to be careful when working on more delicate parts of your yard. Despite these few negatives, it is safe to say that this is a good quality strimmer that is better than the vast majority of alternatives that are currently available on the market.
