What comes to your mind when you think of Chameleons? Probably just a poisonous and scary creature, for some they are beautiful, unique and exotic pets and won’t mind paying a top dollar to own one. And that’s why John Njiru, one of Africa’s very few chameleon farmers, is a lucky man.
He started his chameleon farm in 2006 by collecting wild chameleons from the Mount Kenya region, and exporting them to Europe.
Currently, John exports roughly 100 chameleons every single month.
