A Nairobi County worker who earns a salary of Sh 21,000 has been found with wealth amounting to millions of money.
The county worker who was identified as Michael Ajwang is said to be owning 11 cars, nine parcels of land and a top three star hotel in Kisumu.
This has led the Anti-Corruption Court at Milimani to order the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to freeze the property until a determination is made on how Ajwang acquired it.
The EACC has accused Ajwang who is 45 years old of receiving up to Sh. 40.8 million in bribes from various companies that were awarded tenders by the Nairobi County Government.
