The Board of Directors EAPCC has appointed Mr. Albert Sigei to the new position of Chief Operating Officer with effect from 24th August, 2015. This position is key to continuing to improve EAPCC’s operational effectiveness.
Mr. Sigei will be responsible for Production Operations, Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Sales and Marketing. He will be based in the Athi River Office.
Albert Sigei has an 18-year record of management and leadership in the cement industry. Until his appointment Mr. Sigei was Vice-President of Business Support & Ready Mix operations with Lafarge, Nigeria. He has previously worked with Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
He has a B.Sc in Engineering from the University of Nairobi. In addition, he has qualifications in Professional Accounting, Systems Management and Auditing.
