Over 500 youths from Bungoma county received 10 million financial aid from Bidco Africa in July 2017 which enabled them to grow Soya beans and Sunflower; by products for most of bidco’s end products.
This initiative positively impacted the livelihood of these Western Kenya residents as they could now afford to easily cultivate and harvest the Soya beans and sunflowers.
Other than providing the financial aid, Bidco Africa offers ready market for these farmers’ produce, saving them the hustle of looking for the market for their produce. By Bidco buying the their produce, it guarantees young farmers an income to enable them repay their loans and make profits.
Bidco African has since been able to play a role in lifting youths out of poverty.
