The long-awaited Black Friday is finally here with us. This is the day retailers offer huge discounts to most items on sale. To lure shoppers, retailers offer special sales and promotions to shoppers but only in limited quantities.
Locally, some of te companies offering things for sale on the cheap include Kilimall, Jumia and Safaricom.
Kilimall already started the campaign with the launch of the Gionee M6 Lite smartphone. This phone will be sold exclusively on Kilimall at a launch price of Sh13,999, which represents a discount of 30 percent from its retail price of Sh20,000.
Speaking during the launch, Kilimall Managing Director Robin Xie said Gionee M6 Lite has been released for the Kenyan market and will be available on Kilimall from November 24, just a day before Black Friday.

On the other end, Safaricom Kenya is offering phones at a reduced price during the Black Friday. “Black Friday 4G deal! Buy 2 Samsung Z2 smartphones for only Ks 8,999 & SAVE Ks 3,000 + FREE 1GB data each. Offer valid this Friday Nov. 25th at Safaricom Shops,” said a statement from the telecommunications giant.
In the same vein, Jumia Kenya has a set of items on sale on the cheap.
