The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) is a membership-based trade support institution (TSI) working to protect commercial and industrial interests of Kenyan business community. KNCCI advocates for the creation of a favorable commercial, trade and investment environment that supports enterprise expansion. The membership of KNCCI constitutes small, micro enterprises (MSEs), medium and large enterprises. Incognizant of the key role of played by Women-owned enterprises KNCCI has established Women In Business (WIB) Sector. WIB-Kenya serves as a sector under KNCCI whose mandate is to integrate empowerment of women in business and Trade from all the 47 Counties with the mandate (KNCCI). WIB-Kenya convenes over 10,000 women active in Trade, entrepreneurship, business and professionals across the 47 Counties. In the past 3 years, WIB-Kenya in conjunction with KNCCI has continued to empower women, stir their potential and accelerate the growth of their Trade& entrepreneurial activities.
Call For The Application Of 2017 Women In Business Awards
This will be a recognition award to celebrate exceptional women in business for their many contributions, and impact awardees will be women from the private, informal sector and business owners, who have achieved their success by overcoming limiting norms and challenges. The award will have 10 categories some recognizing women of impact and companies that have demonstrated support of women-owned enterprises directly or indirectly.

1. Eligibility
a) KNCCI members encouraged to apply but not mandatory.
b) The award will be presented to an individual, group of individuals’ representative of the organization.
An Entry Form
a) Please be certain the material or activity fits the category and criteria established.
b) Specific use and description of how the business path was handled is central to the award. Answer the questions listed on the entry form in full detail.
c) Submit along with your entry form all supporting documentation, such as testimonials, photographs, surveys, statistics, other awards of recognition, newspaper clippings, etc.
Entry Form Must Be Signed
Submissions will not be returned. Entries will remain the property of the Chamber. By submitting an entry, applicants grant permission to KNCCI full rights to publish, reproduce, and publicize entries in any paper or electronic publishing format. Entries may be scanned, described, displayed, linked, or reproduced on our website, or published in any other Association publications. No monetary compensation will be received by applicants from any Association for use of their entries.
Entry Deadline
All submission entries must be at KNCCI offices by 6th November, 2017.
