Shareholders of Centum Investments have until today to update their contact details in order to enable them to get their dividends paid out.
According to an advertisement supported by Centum, shareholders should send a short text message with their full name, Identity Card number and email address to the short code 21195. The message is free.
Early this month, Centum ended an eight-year dividend drought by announcing a payout of Sh1 per share after announcing a double-digit growth in after-tax profit to Sh9.9 billion. This was a 25 per cent growth from Sh. 7.9 billion recorded in the full year 2014.
The investment firm’s total dividend payout will amount to a total of a Sh665 million.
