Calif Records boss Clemo bags top Nairobi County Chief Officer job

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has nominated legendary music producer and Calif records owner, Clement Rapudo Sijenyi (Clemo) for the Nairobi Chief Office position.

Popularly known as Clemo, Governor Sakaja has nominated his ally for the City culture, arts and tourism docket, among other 33 nominated people. The celebrity entertainer is now pending vetting by the Culture and Community Services Committee slated on Thursday, December 22nd.

With a magnificent career in music spanning decades, the 42-year-old nominee has worked with notable names in the music industry such as Juacali and Nonini.

Another notable figure nominated for the Chief officer position is the Former Mombasa County Chief Officer for Tourism Asha Abdi.
