Retired head of the Anglican Church Eliud Wabukala has been nominated to head the anti-corruption commission. Archbishop Wabukala was nominated yesterday by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He was among six individuals who had been shortlisted for interviews to head of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
They were interviewed for the job by the Public Service Commission on November 17.
Others who placed applications for the top EACC job included Mr William Kirwa, Mr Philemon Mwaisaka, Mr Peter Ondieki, Ms Rose Osoro and Erastus Iguna.
