Guinness, the Official Beer of the Premier League, hosted a live football viewing experience at the Coast over the weekend.
Football fans at the Coast were treated to a two-day Guinness epic Matchday experience featuring a live screening of the weekend’s EPL matches and punditry by the biggest names in Kenya’s EPL fanbase including Manchester United die-hard fan Maina Kageni, City boy Lotan Salapei and Gunner’s top fan Carol Radull.
The Yacht Lounge, Mtwapa also played host to the Guinness Matchday committee including Chairman G Money, Chief Snacks Officer Nana Owiti and Chief Vibes Officer Willis Raburu with the special addition of media personality Silva Kido.
On Saturday 14th, football fans enjoyed all the day’s matches including the much-anticipated Arsenal Vs Everton game which ended in a goalless draw after a gruelling 90 minutes denying the Gunners a title boost.
The high stakes Sunday 15th Manchester derby which ended in a 2-1 win for Manchester United was not too much of a loss for City fan Alphonse Mwari who won the all-expense paid trip to watch a Live EPL match in the UK, courtesy of Guinness Cleansheet challenge, beating 35 participants in the first draw and 11 finalists.

The Guinness Matchday is a live football screening experience created by the fans for the fans and boasts the largest screens, crisp audio, comfortable seating, snacks, football ambience and punditry with perfectly chilled premium Guinness serves. The experience also offers football fans the chance to win a trip to the UK to watch a Live EPL game by participating in the Guinness Cleansheet challenge and putting to the test their passion and knowledge of the Premier League.

The two-day Matchday also featured an epic entertainment lineup and live music performances by Khaligraph Jones and Charisma. The DJ lineup included Mombasa’s own DJ JR, DJ Wal and Issa Platinum as well as DJ Protege, DJ Redbone, DJ Pskratch and DJ Pierra Makena.
