Footage from a CCTV have revealed tje final moments of the late Nairobi Hospital finance boss Erick Maigo who was stabbed to death at his home.

According to detectives, the footage shows Maigo on Thursday evening at a popular club along Ngong Road that was opened recently. It is at this club that he met three women.

One of these women has been identified as Cynthia Lusega Andalo. Detectives say that Cynthia migjt have knowledge of the woman who is suspected to have ended up with Maigo and who stabbed him to death.

An analysis of Maigo’s M-Pesa transactions show that he sent money to a number of people that day. Andalo who has been arrested received Sh. 650 from Maigo.

From the CCTV footage, Maigo is then seen walking out of this club with a woman who is believed to be the murderer.

His phone records show that he then went to another club along Kilimani Road in the company of the woman, before the went to his house together at around quarter past 10pm.

Detectives have also established that Maigo was stabbed twenty five times using two different knives. According to analysis, the two knives had the same set of fingerprints.

He had been stabbed on chest, neck and face. His hands, though, did not have any cuts, which detectives say was a sign that he did not fight back or that he might have been poisoned before the murder.

Samples have been collected from his body for toxicology tests to determt if Maigo was posioned before his murder.
