Faheem Mohammed, a caring father residing in the US, planned a massive surprise for his son by presenting him with 40 acres of land in Boulevard, San Diego County.
Faheem’s story became popular on social media platforms after he shared it, and it quickly went viral. During an interview with a CBS8 journalist, the generous dad revealed that he purchased 198 acres of land in 2021.
The property is located beside the US-Mexico border wall. While it may seem like an ordinary landscape with trees, a lake, and huge boulders, Faheem saw its potential.
“We see clear space that we uninterruptedly enjoy nature. Especially growing up in a congested city like LA, out here it’s different,” Faheem mentioned.
Faheem is based in Los Angeles and operates a real estate firm that acquires and renovates properties on the South Side of Chicago.
He founded Oasis Investment Group, a company committed to enhancing the quality of life of the Black American community in the vicinity.
His company teaches people about home ownership and investing in real estate.
“These are people who’ve had families on government assistance for years. And now they’re actually enrolled in courses about owning their own homes,” Mohammed stated.
Faheem’s mother inspired him to start his real estate business as she believed in the importance of property ownership in the community.

To teach his son about the value of land ownership, Faheem gifted him 40 acres of the land he bought in Boulevard, San Diego County, when he turned 13.
“I thought it would be a great opportunity to teach him a life lesson about the value of the land.”
The teenager has already started brainstorming ideas for his property. They include building an ATV track since the land is in the countryside and exploring other business opportunities that may arise.
