A teenage girl who is the prime suspect in the murder of Nairobi Hospital finance boss Erick Maigo has been arraigned before court and detained for twenty one days.
The girl was presented at the Milimani High Coury hours after she was arrested at the Olympic area in Kibera on Tuesday night.
Detectives asked the court to allow them to detain the girl for 21 days in a bid to conclude investigations. The detectives believe that the girl who is suspected to aged between 15 and 17 years old did not act alone in murdering Erick Maigo.
Maigo was found murdered on the morning of September 15, 2023 at his house in Woodley Estate.
Maigo had been stabbed 25 times on his chest, face and neck.
