The Public Service Commission (PSC) has advertised internship opportunities across various government agencies.
In a notice on Tuesday, August 13, PSC disclosed that the recruitment will be done for government ministries, departments, and agencies under the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) for the financial year 2024/25.
“The Public Service Commission (PSC) is pleased to announce the recruitment of interns (Cohort 7) under the PSIP for the Financial Year 2024/2025,” read part of the notice.
Qualifications for the programmes include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, computer literacy, and must have graduated no earlier than 2018.

Successful candidates will be tasked with completing duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisor and documenting relevant skills acquired in their areas of deployment.
The interns will also participate in any relevant mentorship activities and execute additional responsibilities designed for the programme.
The internship will last for 12 months (non-renewable) and the interns will be paid a stipend at a rate determined by the government.
Upon completion of the internship, they shall be awarded a certificate.
