Inside pastor Ezekiel’s International school charging Sh200,000 per term

Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Church is considered one of the wealthiest preachers in Kenya, with multi-million investments spanning Education, hospitality, and the real estate sector.

Besides his Mavueni church, Odero allegedly owns hotels, malls, and a helipad, all sitting on 65 acres of land. He is also the proprietor of the multi-million Kilifi International School, which charges over Sh200,000 per term.

Located in Mavueni, Kilifi County, Kilifi International School is a junior and senior international school that offers the International Cambridge and Pearson  Curriculum.

Among the amenities in the school are a swimming pool, modern theatre, multipurpose sports, cultural halls, and laboratories for various science subjects.

The school which initially targeted affluent kids, is set to offer free education to all the needy children in Kenya and beyond. This is according to Odero, who made the announcement during the last church service.

He said that the plan to sponsor needy children into his school followed a request from God to sacrifice more for the community.

“Therefore, Kilifi International School will not charge any fee. Besides that, it will not be a normal school; we will not go back to the local curriculum we will stick to the international one,” he stated.

The pastor observed that most needy children end up not getting quality education despite being bright in school. He added that needy students seeking to study at Kilifi International School will be selected based on their performance.

“You find some students are bright, but no one will help them. Kilifi International School is here to help; they will not pay for anything, including food and accommodation. This is our sacrifice for the month of October,” he remarked.

Parents who had applied for positions at the school were informed to look for other options as it will now focus on the needy students.

Those who have already paid the fee will be allowed to continue with their studies but will not be charged for subsequent school terms.
