Magara in an interview with the Standard, reveals that he crafted the seven-seater sofa in 1986 when he was still a carpenter, and it has survived every season, a testament to the quality of his craftsmanship.

He reveals that he bought the leather sofas from China, along with the light fixtures and chandeliers that give the living room an elegant feel.

Magara’s wife takes charge of decorating the space, while he simply handles the financial aspect. The kitchen, which is designed for a country home, is modern and boasts several features, such as grey slab cabinets, terrazzo walls, an island work area, and top-of-the-line fitted appliances.

However, what sets Magara’s kitchen apart is that it operates without gas.

Instead, they use biogas generated from cow dung produced on their farm to power their cooking appliances.
