Dennis Itumbi, Eliud Owalo, Moses Kuria land plum State jobs

Dennis Itumbi and immediate former Cabinet Secretaries Moses Kuria and Eliud Owalo have landed prime positions in the government.

The three individuals were on Friday appointment to new government roles by President William Ruto.

Kuria was appointed as a senior adviser in the Council of Economic Advisors “to bolster the implementation of the Bottom-Up Economic Agenda plan by the broad-based government.”

“To support the Executive Office of the President in delivering its mandate, the President has, with the approval of the Public Service Commission (PSC), appointed Eliud Owalo as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Performance and Delivery Management,” a statement that was issued by Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Kosgei said.

“This ministerial level appointment will among other roles, be responsible for effective and efficient implementation, monitoring and evaluation of priority projects and initiatives of the 5th administration in line with the BETA Plan. Further, the office is charged with overseeing performance of Government Ministries, Departments & Agencies in service delivery.”

On his part, Itumbi was appointed as head of creative in the office of the president.

“The president  has also appointed, with the approval of the Public Service Commission Dennis Itumbi the Head of Creative Economy and Special Projects in the Executive Office of the President. This appointment will go into fostering this administration’s zeal of innovation and growth towards a robust yet novel sector in the economic sphere,” Kosgei said in the statement.
