James Mworia Centum: Mr. James Mworia has served as Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director of Centum Investment Company Limited since October 22, 2008. He is Member of the Company’s Branding and Investment Committees.

He represents the Company as a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of UAP Holdings Limited, UAP Insurance Company Limited, UAP Insurance Sudan Limited, UAP Life Assurance Limited, UAP Properties Limited, Nairobi Bottlers Limited, Mount Kenya Bottlers Limited, General Motors East Africa Limited and NAS Airport Services Limited and SIA (K) Holdings Limited. He previously served as Investment Manager at the Company until December 2006.

James Mworia salary has made him a popular figure in Kenya’s corporate scene.

He is responsible for the overall stewardship of the company, a fete that has led to the now popular and top ranking Jame Mworia salary. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Centum, he was Head of Investments at TransCentury Ltd. Mr. Mworia is a CFA Charter Holder and an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He holds a Bachelors Degree in Law from the University of Nairobi.

Mr. Mworia is currently among the top ten shareholders at Centum. He holds a 0.61 per cent stake which makes him the fourth largest individual shareholder at Centum.

Mr. James Mworia is also a board member of the Nairobi Securities Exchange. He was elected to the board in June 2015 to replace former Uchumi CEO Jonathan Ciano.
